This piece is an intimate exploration of separation, grief, and the persistence of memories. The central image—a pair of legs wearing polka-dot socks and sandals—embodies the apparent lightness of an escape, while the layered, textured background symbolizes the emotional layers of the past.
The background, with its multiple layers of barely legible text, invites a deeper exploration. It represents a whisper of thoughts, a hidden narration beneath the surface. The juxtaposition between the soft pastel tones and the graphic lines of the clothing creates tension between the lightness of the present and the weight of the past. The artwork feels suspended between two states: the march toward the future and the refusal to forget.

From this reflection, Nawel builds forms to deconstruct them. With shyness at the start in 2019 but with ever more conviction thereafter.
Today his work is prolific with sometimes a desire to explode the square with pop-street-art inspirations and sometimes the intention to capture the aesthetics of calm.
