This work of art immediately strikes with its emotional intensity and visual dynamism. Divided into two panels, it is expressed through a palette of deep blues, shades of gray and bright whites. The touches of yellow and red, subtle but significant, enhance the whole and add a particular liveliness to the work. The play of textures is formidable: the artist uses thick layers of paint, applied in such a way as to create a palpable, almost organic relief. This process gives the work a tactile dimension, encouraging the viewer to imagine the sensation under his fingers. The deliberate use of light contrasts plays a crucial role. The areas of light seem to emerge from the dark depths, like rays of light piercing a dense darkness. This opposition between light and darkness is not only visual but also symbolic, evoking the duality of human existence, the conflict between hope and despair, tranquility and turbulence.
