Unique painting made from the accumulation of approximately 150 layers of paint accumulated over the decades.
The central piece, a fragment of a wall, bears witness to a formidable duality, combining brutality and finesse. The upper part displays blue, white and brown hues, potentially evoking a natural landscape with mountains and a tormented sky. This abstract representation gradually leads to a striking contrast, where the bright and saturated colours of the graffiti immediately catch the eye. The graffiti, made in shades of pink with touches of purple and yellow, embodies a dynamic urban energy.
Black outlines define and emphasize the bold, angular lettering, while dot and line accents add visual depth and graphic rhythm. The sturdy, minimalist red frame creates a perfect backdrop for this work, highlighting the fragment's contrasting features. The depth of the frame, with its black background, provides an effective staging that detaches the fragment and gives the illusion that it is floating, adding an extra dimension to the whole.

Vision was born in 1971 in Pantin and grew up in Montreuil in the Paris suburbs. In 1983, he was then 12 years old and like many teenagers his age, he did not escape the surge of hiphop which invaded France. After tagging for a few months without really understanding the meaning, he made his first graffiti in 1986 and founded the group "Purple Kidz" in reference to a famous song by Prince. In the 90s, he showed all the colors in Île-de-France with his group Outlaw Crew. Railways, trains, subway trains, vacant lots, nothing escapes them. Recognized artist of international graffiti, his name will mark the mind of a whole generation of writers as he painted and wrote it. Self-taught, he has also turned to painting on canvas since 1990, with daily workshop work since 2001. He takes part in numerous festivals, solo and collective exhibitions in Paris, in the provinces and abroad. (TAG at the Grand Palais, Manish Arora haute couture fashion show, ParisToutPetit in partnership with Arcurial ...) Today recognized for his work on canvas and on walls, Vision is one of the most prolific writers. Few of his generation are still active as he is. In 2016, he celebrates his 30 years of graffiti and does not seem ready to stop.
