This artwork presents a mesmerizing interplay of vibrant colors and dynamic forms, drawing viewers into its swirling narrative. Dominating the upper section, a bold spiral blends yellows, purples, and reds, creating a sense of movement and energy. This whirlwind of hues seems to cascade into a textured, speckled expanse of rich blue, suggesting a cosmic or oceanic depth that contrasts with the explosive vibrancy above. The lower portion echoes this motion with undulating stripes of red, blue, and orange, conveying fluidity and continuity. The juxtaposition of flowing lines and vibrant colors generates an illusion of reflection or duality, adding depth and intrigue. The bold, expressive shapes and vivid color palette make this piece an engaging exploration of contrast and harmony, stimulating both visual and emotional responses.

Presentation
The artist Lucia Skultety lives and works in Košice, Slovakia. Her work explores visually inspiring perceptions alongside a rich internal world of emotions and various aspects of her surroundings. She engages in a wide range of artistic genres, from vibrant and dynamic abstracts and surreal compositions to expressionism and imaginative reflections of reality and the world of imagination. Her landscapes transition into abstract forms inspired by everything from nature and architecture to brain neurons and the uncharted surreal landscapes of bizarre yet aesthetically captivating possibilities around us.
She has a talent for combining and stylizing shapes and colours, sensitively capturing diverse influences. She is fascinated by the human brain, consciousness, subconsciousness, the realm of dreams, and the real world around her. Her inspirations range from people and their inner experiences to nature, animals, the universe, sci-fi, design, and architecture. With a broad range of interests, many areas spark her curiosity. Her colourful acrylic compositions are playful and dynamic, certain to brighten both the mind and interior spaces. Additionally, she creates black-and-white surreal drawings and often explores figurative art filled with surrealistic elements. For roughly three years, she has also worked on unique renditions of real objects transformed into other elements of reality, often resulting in humorous reinterpretations that give the original objects a new and distinctive character.
She enjoys traveling between reality and the world of fantasy, making her artwork a journey into the realm of imagination.
The artist studied fine arts and English language at Prešov University in Prešov, Slovakia. She completed a 10-month Comenius internship in Turin, Italy. Currently, she teaches at the School of Applied Arts in Košice. In 2009, she won 1st place for painting, and in 2011, she took 2nd place in Category B of the regional art competition Košická Paleta in Košice. She has participated in several group exhibitions, including Dámska jazda in Košice and the Gallery of the Cultural Center of KSK (2009, 2011, 2012). Beyond Košice, her work has also been exhibited in Sárospatak, Hungary.
Her paintings stand out for their unique style, energy, and dynamism, drawing viewers into a vibrant world of diverse themes, colours, and forms.
