An original textured oil painting of a Martha's Vineyard home interior! Known for it's beautiful homes, this lovely island is off the coast of Nantucket. I worked there one summer during college and it is a wonderful place! There is a lot to see in this painting! It's filled with many details, all painted with meticulously-applied, luscious strokes of thick oil paint! A Bernese Mountain Dog is taking a nap, above him hang paintings of iconic scenes of Martha's Vineyard including The West Chop Lighthouse, A sailing yacht and The Aquinnah Cliffs formerly known as Gay Head and of course the dog's portrait! Above the door is a framed, sculpted picture of a historical boat. In the next room, a cat is basking in the afternoon sun and a compass painting hangs on the wall. Blue and white chinoiserie decorations complete this elegant, well-love home. This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity. It has been painted with the highest quality Rembrandt oil paints so you can enjoy your artwork for a lifetime! This painting ships in a box arriving ready to hang. The sides are painted white.

Presentation
Ever inspired by nature, I love painting large, contemporary, impressionist-style paintings with multiple layers of thick, expressive strokes of paint. I primarily paint in oils and also enjoy painting with watercolor, gouache and acrylic.
The majority of my artwork is seascapes, garden scenes and I also enjoy painting wildlife.
I endeavor to paint each piece in a completely unique way from start to finish.
When viewed at a close distance, the colors and texture are beautiful and interesting in their own abstract way, when viewed from a further distance, the shapes, colors and strokes of paint magically come together to reveal the painting's subject.
My is lovingly collected worldwide, it hangs in luxury and corporate collections worldwide including a painting in the White House Collection, (Barack and Michelle Obama), as well as the collection of The New Zealand Parliament with The Honourable Simon Bridges. Our research shows that I am the only person in the world to have a painting in both the White House and The New Zealand Parliament.

I have been teaching for as long as I have been painting, teaching is something I really enjoy. I have taught international workshops in Italy and New Zealand, currently, I have a collection of video classes online as well in-person painting workshops.
