Presentation
Artist Statement:
I am a Cypriot painter. I create large-scale abstract oil paintings in a host of vibrant and bold colours.
Musicality Captured in Oil
I am a professional musician, so it is important for me to capture the rhythm, tonality and tempo of the music with a brush on canvas. Dynamism is essential to the pieces, where I want to express a sense of movement and inconstancy with the shades of paint which vibrate against one another. I am also inspired by the sea and the underwater landscapes and often my abstract paintings are inspired by the underwater flowers known as actinia.
Colourful Process
When it comes to my creative process, I find that imagination, fantasy and playfulness are all essential traits. My unique and spontaneous oil paintings are always executed in bold or pastel colours that bleed into one another as if they have been submerged in water.
Cypriot Success
I have exhibited extensively in Cyprus and in Europe in places such as Amsterdam at the Amsterdam International Art Fair in 2017. Earlier this year she exhibited her paintings at the Art Revolution Taipei art fair in Taiwan. 2019 - at the art fair in Guangzhou China.

School of Design, private lessons in Germany.

Artistic Influences:
I am inspired by William Turner and Arkhip Kuindzhi. I love nature and especially the sea and the underwater world, so my technique and style are showing underwater plants called actinias.
