Alina Fayzi, Experienced artist.
Based in St. Petersburg, Born 1995.
Alina Fayzi lives and works in St. Petersburg. She has experience in organizing solo exhibitions, such as the exhibition "Emotions in Textures" held at the Brullov Mansion in St. Petersburg.
Among the numerous group exhibitions in which Alina has participated, special mention should be made of the "Abstract Textures" exhibition in Jelgava and the "Hunting Stories" exhibition in Lappeenranta.
Alina conducted a charitable masterclass titled "Why Cows?" with the participation of Billy Novik and a charitable foundation in St. Petersburg in 2018. Her artworks are held in collections of prominent figures in Russia, including Anastasia Ivleeva, Marika Degas, Dmitry Soroka, and Ilya Levchuk.
Remarkably, Alina painted her first commercial interior at the age of 12.
Currently, Alina is an art instructor and co-author of the course "Interior Artist from Scratch," which has been attended by over 1000 individuals.
Alina's art revolves around the theme of natural textures and nature itself, which she vividly captures in her work. She paints with emotions and feelings, instantly transferring her thoughts and memories onto the canvas. She employs a wide range of materials and tools to achieve intriguing textures and unique combinations. Lately, her focus has been on exploring her inner state and translating it directly into her creative work.
She is presently working on a new series of paintings. In recent years, Alina has delved deep into the study of inner sensations, emotional states, relationships with herself, nature, and people. In this series, she explores what currently troubles and soothes her – it's all about balance.
Her paintings now include handwritten texts, representing a form of cave art for future generations, as in the era of video content, our writing may take a back seat. Thus, for the artist, incorporating texts into the artwork has become significant.
...and people, made of pixels or resembling cells of nature, dissolve into their environment – you never know if the person before you is a cyborg or a human in harmony with nature. Alina leaves this question open for the viewer.
