Presentation
Pablo Viracocha was born on October 6, 1963, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Bolivian parents. He began his studies at the Manuel Belgrano School of Fine Arts. In 1989, he earned the title of National Master of Drawing from the Regina Pacis School of Fine Arts, followed by a specialization in Painting at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School of Fine Arts. After completing his studies, he moved to Bolivia to further pursue his artistic journey. Since 1988, Pablo has showcased his work in solo and group exhibitions across Argentina, Bolivia, the United States, Spain, and England; earning numerous accolades and recognitions.
In La Paz, he worked as a Drawing and Painting instructor and served as Director of the prestigious Hernando Siles National Academy of Fine Arts. He also holds a degree in Social Communication from the Major University of San Andrés.
While in Buenos Aires, he discovered the true value of drawing under the guidance of Pastorino. He also benefited from the generous teachings and support given to him by Olga Settembrini de Tassara, Amelia Borges Leal, Ponciano Cárdenas Canedo, Naum Goijman, Alfredo Portillos, and others. In La Paz, he connected with artists Gonzalo Ribero and Gustavo Lara Torres, who helped him deepen his artistic knowledge and further fueled his passion for art.
