Artwork location: France
From an automatic drawing appeared the dynamic form of a dancer with long hair. I accentuated her movement so that she encourages us to enter into a colorful dance. A figurative approach with geometric and abstract work.
Built on the basis of the golden ratio.

Jean-Christophe Stauder is a painter born in 1969. He lives in Troyes (France). He developed a taste for art and in particular black and white photography very early on. He began researching light and composition that would lay the foundations for his future work as a painter. His interest in the artistic world led him to work for about fifteen years as a journalist, editor and photographer, particularly specializing in the cultural sector. At the same time, he continued to experiment and express his inspiration through different mediums: drawing, Indian ink, watercolor, tempera, gouache, etc.
It was his meeting two years ago with Gilbert Wolfisberg, painting professor and creator of the Art-quarium gallery in Geneva (Switzerland), which allowed him to acquire new tools for a more constructed pictorial composition based, in particular, on the golden ratio, in a dynamic approach combining harmony and movement.
Since then, his favorite medium has been oil painting. His works are permeated by rhythms and vibrations; they invite you to move around all parts of the canvas in a choice of warm color palette.
His favorite themes are movement, energy, dance, music, nature, symbolism, mythology… Placing his work in his time, he conceives his activity as a painter as an artistic action likely to contribute to fueling the debate, or even to shake up consciences. His artistic approach is presented as follows:
"
He conceives his works as rituals that draw the viewer into a ceremony in which he himself is a co-actor. The latter himself participates in the painting that is renewed with each reading.
As the painters Jean Metzinger and Mark Rothko pointed out, the painting is a living organism, a closed world that lives in itself and acts on the one who apprehends it. Like Ulysses' Odyssey, it creates a narrative with a beginning, a journey, a circulation in a universe and an end, a return. The painting thus opens up an infinite space and time. It possesses this universality that makes one mute. The work does without words and acts without words.
A bit like a magic object, a talisman object. On the board to act as a medicine that will work purgation, purification. A form of exorcism.
An unconquered sun that will be reborn with each new dawn, dispelling the darkness without a struggle in its path and spreading its gentle warmth over Men.
