Taner Yılmaz est né à Francfort en 1981 et a ensuite déménagé à Bursa, en Turquie. Il a commencé à peindre dès son enfance, s'immergeant dans l'histoire de l'art et étudiant les œuvres des grands maîtres tels que Velázquez et Rembrandt. Les peintures de Yılmaz sont profondément personnelles, servant de moyen pour lui d'exprimer des émotions et des idées venues de son subconscient. Son approche de l'art est une exploration des sentiments intérieurs, traduits en images vibrantes et évocatrices.
Se concentrant principalement sur le portrait, Yılmaz utilise une large gamme de techniques, y compris le cubisme et l'impressionnisme, pour susciter des réponses émotionnelles profondes de la part de son public.
