Bruno Charoy's testimony
"All my life as a 'digital' photographer I have only used 35mm. No distortion, closest to my natural gaze and I did not deviate from it. No other lens in my bag, ever.
And from my past as a "film" photographer, I kept my framing, I think "square", I see "square".
This horse racing project that I had been thinking about for a long time was the opportunity to test a 70/200 zoom ... stuck on 175mm. The tests are conclusive.
I then decided that I was going to take advantage of the handicap caused by this blocked but nonetheless fetish optic and that my history on the racetracks will be at 175mm, never more never less. "

Presentation
Bruno Charoy discovered photography through his mother, she often developed photos in front of her awestruck son. He was more captivated by the results rather than the practice itself. Initially Bruno Charoy considered himself to be a musician, at 30 the guitarist was frustrated and decided to turn towards another field, to earn money.
Many people in his entourage were photographers, in fact they pushed him to question himself and advised him to choose photography after having seen some of his photos. Initially, Bruno Charoy took photos as an amateur, like everyone today, but his friends saw a hidden talent.
He decided to sell all his assets and headed towards the Connecticut river, during which he created a travel diary of photos.
Due to this travel diary, Bruno Charoy was discovered by the daily "Jour" who hired him in 1993. Even though the paper lasted only a few months, Bruno Charoy had made up his mind, he'll be a photographer and this is when his career took off.
