Author, photographer, videographer and musician, David Law is an accomplished artist who takes a unique look at the urban world around us. For more than 30 years, he tracked the gaze of window mannequins by playing with reflections and lights to integrate the city. These "Girls In Town" correspond to this day in a bygone era and the new generations do not imagine that they dominated our daily life. The ideal form of these idyllic women symbolized the dream and the luxury of a more than perfect illusory world.
After working on other series featuring Korean dolls and Japanese angels, David Law looks back on his portraits of models with a new approach with pop and Street Art influences. He now encrusts his portraits with a multitude of Street Art details, torn posters, erased paintings or natural materials taken from his personal photos, to create new portraits of these women who are still relevant today, and true witnesses of the influences of our urban society.
David Law has been exhibiting for several years in numerous contemporary art fairs in France and abroad.

David Law was born in Paris in 1967. He finished his school career in 1988 and undertook higher studies in the field of video and image.
Insatiable "touches everything", he tries his hand in poetry, writing, comics, recording soundtracks, directing, editing films, then photography. Always attracted by window mannequins, who seem to him to question him, he began to photograph them in 1994.
For these "Girls in Town" photos, he seeks to pierce the mystery and the soul of these beautiful lonely women, who like a mirror of our own lives, send us back the image of what we are ... His universe revolves around reflections, reflected reality, like another world mirror of reality.
