Artwork location: France
This intriguing work features a plastic bottle filled with water, housing several colorful fish, encapsulated in a dynamic aquatic universe. The splashing background and suspended bubbles create a captivating visual effect, suggesting movement and liveliness. Inside the bottle, the fish appear both protected and trapped, embodying a poignant critique of plastic pollution and environmental impact. The transparency of the plastic highlights the fragility of the aquatic ecosystem, while highlighting the artist's technical ingenuity. Through this assemblage, the work encourages deep reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, and the collective responsibility to preserve our planet. The stark contrast between the natural beauty and the artificiality of the packaging creates a powerful visual tension, making this work as memorable as it is engaging.
