A monument in my city, Cahors. Also called the Devil's Bridge. Its construction was decided upon by the city's consuls in 1306, and the first stone was laid on June 17, 1308. Its function was as a fortress, intended to defend the city against attacks from the south. A bridge that was originally used for automobile traffic, the Valentré Bridge was returned to pedestrians in 1995.
This captivating artwork features an abstract interpretation of a historic bridge over a river, the artist using bursts of blue, yellow, and pink to breathe modern vitality into a timeless scene. The bridge itself, with its elegant arches, appears to float in a surreal space, while the reflection in the water creates an enchanting symmetry. In the background, the hills create a suggestive horizon, dotted with splashes of color that evoke a vibrant sunrise. The bold use of crisp white contrasts beautifully with the vivid hues, accentuating a sense of lightness and movement. The work, both traditional and contemporary, offers a unique vision that encourages the viewer to reflect on the perception and interpretation of the urban landscape.

Hello, I'm Eric Dujols, and I'm delighted that you're interested in my creations.
I have been practicing my art for 20 years, but it is only in the last two years that I have made it my main activity.
I have been taking photos since I was a teenager, because I observe a lot of those around me, but also, I observe everything that comes within my reach (objects, etc.).
I use gradients a lot, and my works are a condensation of tools from various software and my photographs, they are barely distinguishable or not at all in my paintings. And since then, I have not stopped creating, because I have found my way and my means of expression.
I have my creations printed on Alu Dibond, which is a contemporary material because it is super innovative.
