The revolution is on ! Respectful of the teaching of "primitive" civilizations where the art object is charged with a function, most often linked to that of worship, the plastic designer Salvy de Saunhac continues his work on "talismanism and fetishism" in the pure spirit of Designer Toys. This new multicolored sculpture, Cocci-revolution, is handmade, in cast polyresin and in a limited edition. It is available in three brilliant lacquer colors: ruby red, emerald green and turquoise blue. “She is said to be the best friend of gardeners and brings good luck according to legend dating back to the Middle Ages. In my laboratory, I carried out a hybridization between a beetle ready to take off and a legendary vehicle which asks only to swallow the asphalt ... will 2014 mark this turn that we will have to negotiate ? We still have to reinvent a project of civilization where Man must be placed at the center of concerns, reclaim our mother nature, reconcile us to each other. It may be time to hit the road again towards a bright future filled with Love and Peace ... On the road again! ” The designer has created an original and joyful work inspired by Ferdinand Porsche's car drawing. Both good luck, a symbol of ecology and protection of nature, the animal attracts the sympathy of all. Through this successful marriage between animals and cars, the artist takes us to the reign of the 70s. He sends us a peaceful message, opens a route in our consciousness and questions our social project ... The change is now !...

Salvy de Saunhac is a French visual artist and designer born in Albi in 1969. His artistic approach focuses on the diversion of a purely decorative style "Art-toy" to transmit his perception of the world. Indeed, the artist puts particular attention to the function of the piece of art: He thus pursues a research on talismanism and fetishism, in a contemporary style. On the other hand, the artist does not deny the legacy of the "toys" and emotions associated to childhood of which it can be charged. The artist creates an atypical universe, a fantastic bestiary full of pigs or ladybugs, which challenge the observer. The animal is a way to make man meditate about, what he is, his way of life, in an artistic proposition in which emotion reigns. The artist exhibits his work regularly throughout France.
