This artwork presents an intriguing juxtaposition of the mundane and the extraordinary, capturing the viewer's attention with its thought-provoking subject matter and meticulous craftsmanship. The piece features a detailed miniature sculpture of an astronaut, donning a classic spacesuit complete with a backpack and visor, pushing a unconventional plow machine. This seemingly ordinary activity of moving the plow is rendered surreal by the astronaut's attire, evoking a sense of otherworldliness and fantasy. The astronaut figure is crafted with precise attention to detail, down to the textures and contours of the spacesuit, suggesting a high degree of craftsmanship and an intimate understanding of space exploration gear. The simple plow machine, contrastingly, is rendered in a rustic bronze tone, emphasizing the banal nature of the task being performed. The combination of these two elements alone serves to provoke curiosity and invite deeper interpretation. The sculpture stands atop a solid, rectangular marble base, which adds to the artwork's gravity and permanence. The marble is subtly veined, lending a sense of natural beauty and grounding the piece in the physical world. This choice of material further emphasizes the dichotomy of the astronaut performing a terrestrial chore, blending the extraordinary with the everyday. This artwork challenges the viewer to consider themes of routine, human endeavor, and the universal nature of daily tasks, regardless of setting. It invites speculation on the human aspect of space exploration, suggesting that no matter how far humanity ventures, it remains tethered to the ordinary rhythms of life. This piece is not only visually captivating but also rich in narrative potential, making it a remarkable and thought-provoking addition to any art collection.

Presentation
Aziz Anzabi is a British artist of Iranian origin born in 1970, who lives and works in London, United Kingdom. He exhibits numerous works in the United States, the Netherlands and Iran. Anzabi mixes an almost extinct Iranian style of peeled paper on canvas with traditional oil on canvas techniques. Aziz's works are very socially engaged -- his latest series, "Life," explores people forced to immigrate because of war. Engaging with contemporary issues through a surrealist lens, the artist's paintings feature voluminous forms, intricate details and striking contrasts.
