The Undrinkable Can is a satirical art project aimed at highlighting the environmental disaster and alarming health problems caused by the Coca-Cola Company.
The concept: a limited edition of 1,500 custom-made cans, redesigned in a satirical manner, filled with Coca-Cola and permanently sealed, therefore impossible to open. Each can is sold with its numbered display box and 39 g of sugar, the exact quantity found in a standard can of Coke.
At the end of the sale, 100% of the profits from “The Undrinkable Can" will be invested in a short sale against Coca Cola shares on Nasdaq.
The pricing mechanism:
First come, first served! Each can comes with its own uniquely numbered display case. The first can was sold for $1, the second can for $2, the third for $3, and so on. The price you pay is your can number.
