Presentation
SALVATORE ALIBRIO Syracuse, 1991
In 2017 he graduated in sculpture with a grade of 110 cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania. He deals with painting and sculpture.
In 2013 he took part in an anatomical drawing competition organized by the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania which took him to Paris to attend a training and professional development course at the Universitè Paris Descartes-Centre du Don des Corps.
In 2014 he took part in the “Art Market of Budapest" event; in 2016 he participated in “Artisti di Sicilia" (new talents) curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and in the exhibition on the 70 years of La Sicilia.
Between March and April 2016 he participated in the international sculpture symposium in the city of Belpasso (CT), while in September of the same year together with two other colleagues he created a public monument for the city of Piedimonte Etneo (CT) entitled "Memory" .
In May June he collaborated with the artist Emilio Isgrò for the realization of the project "the dream of Empedocles".
In 2018 Creation of the monument “Dalle mie Ceneri" for the FCE underground station in Catania. January 2018. Participation in the 14th International Symposium Sculpting in the Square “In an obstinate and contrary direction", a tribute to Fabrizio De Andrè. Paratico (BS) July 2018.
In 2019 paratissima Torino received the Best 15 prize. He collaborated with the Corsino pastry shop for the creation and donation of a monument dedicated to water presented by the art critic Francesco Gallo Mazzeo, Palazzolo Acreide 5/1/2020.
In August September 2020 he participated in a contemporary art collective curated by Laura Pieri and Paolo Lolicata in Milazzo (ME) with the HUMAN TOUCH – Isolation project.
In 2021 he participates in the Paratissima art fair curated by Giulia Giglio and Paolo Lolicata in Turin, with the REBIRTHING project.
