In “Rencontre", the fiery red and the luminous gold rush towards each other, blending in the immaculate space of white, like two opposing forces seeking harmony.
The striking way in which red and gold meet creates a confrontation that is both dynamic and harmonious. Red, a symbol of passion and warmth, contrasts with gold, the color of luxury and light, but together they gradually blend into white, which acts as a space of transition and balance. This encounter between intense and pure hues suggests a subtle alchemy, where the intensity of emotions (red) and divine or precious serenity (gold) unite in a neutral space, giving the work a symbolic depth.

Charlotte Orel is a painter whose works are a translation of the way in which she understands nature, life, the cosmos. To bring perceptions back to matter, she uses natural materials, such as ashes, coal, earth, sand, grape marc, which she collects during her expeditions around the planet.There is a whole work of preparing the raw material which is completely part of the creation of the canvas: it mixes, grinds, filters, before being able to create natural paints. And what is painted on the canvas is channeled, that is to say not of the order of the mind. There is a meditative phase beforehand as well.Once the painting is on the canvas, to present certain paintings, she paints her body, dances, and creates animations and video montages. It is like a tool in the service of Life.
