Enriqueta Aguiló was born in Azul, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
From the age of 12 she attends drawing and painting courses at M.E.B.A., in Buenos Aires.
She begins her studies in Fine Arts at the «Luciano Fortabat National School», in the city of Azul.
Once she completed her studies, she moved to Mar del Plata, where she continued her training as an artist at the «Martín Malharro School of Visual Arts.»
She attends drawing classes at Marta Porreta's workshop, a disciple of Leo Vinci.
She returns to Buenos Aires, and finishes her painting studies at the «Escuela Nacional Prilidiano Pueyrredón».
She attends Néstor Cruzs workshop.
In 2008, she moved to Punta del Este, Uruguay, where she starts her new place of creation and work «Atelier Enriqueta Aguiló». Currently she teaches art workshops
Enriqueta Aguiló's paintings are in private collections in Argentina, USA, France, England, Sweden, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Spain.
In my Las Piousas series of acrylics and mixed media, I paint women in their various emotional states. For this I base myself on the compositions, on the textures of their backgrounds and above all on the color. I want each work to produce in the viewer an immediate sensation when observing it, be it joy and happiness, tenderness and melancholy. It will influence, of course, the state of mind of those who watch the work, hence my interest in being able to transmit an emotion, a feeling that moves the viewer.
