Working with groups as varied as residents of the Amiens-Nord and Étouvie districts, miners from the North of France, EDF employees in the Somme and Avignon, vacationers in the Var, landscapers from Essex, disabled children in Oise, the Familistère de Guise community, future farmers in Thiérache, inmates from the Amiens Prison, refugees from a Sahrawi camp, RMI beneficiaries , Mediterranean women, undocumented, and Palestinian refugees, Marie-Claude Quignon makes each collaboration a source of inspiration to reinvent her artistic practices.
This ability to embrace and value individual and collective stories, through the prism of her art, underlines an open and evolving artistic approach. Quignon does not just capture the social and cultural reality of her interlocutors; it engages in a creative dialogue where art becomes a common language, a space for exchange and transformation.
