Dermatoglyphics, each of those skin furrows that draw lines and vortices on surfaces digits of a hand, enhances prehensile, adhesion, and tactile functions. We leave a lot of fingerprints around the world and don't realize it. At our passage, we leave our mark on living beings, disfiguring their essence and existence. We force the deviation of others with each of our passages. A little bird lands on an end that seems to be a quiet place, but instead, it finds itself being incorporated by this digital footprint. In this case, in my work, just like in reality, the tactile presence of humanity also incorporates what is most profound and delicate. Every living being becomes the cause and/or consequence of others. You act directly, and with touch, you invade other people's space, their thoughts, hopes, etc. You dream and you don't realize it, or you don't realize you notice it.
The sculpture weighs approximately 40kg and will be shipped in a wooden crate with a total weight of 55kg.

Presentation
Vanessa Bonino was born in Turin in 1992.In 2010, after completing her studies at the Liceo Artistico di Pinerolo with a focus on Architecture (TO), she entered into a collaboration for a short period with the Archingeo studio. After various courses in techniques on wood, such as carving, sculpture and pyrography, you carry out manual artistic work in the field of wood craftsmanship, as well as restoration.
In 2016 you participated in the Symposium of Sculpture on lava stone in Belpasso (CT) with the work “Città-Cuore di fire". In the same year, she participated together with other colleagues in a limestone sculpture symposium in Croatia in Bale Valle (Istria).
In 2017 she graduated in Sculpture from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin with a 110/110.
In 2018 she was selected for a sandstone sculpture symposium in Tuscany in Vellano (PT) with the work “Knowing how to look beyond..."
In 2019 she moved to Sicily to Palazzolo Acreide (SR) where she works in the artistic field. She deals with sculpture and painting.
August-September 2020 she participates in a contemporary art collective curated by Laura Pieri and Paolo.
She was located in Milazzo (ME) with the HUMAN TOUCH – Isolation project, with the work “In search of one's own Island".
In 2021 she participated in the Paratissima art fair curated by Giulia Giglio and Paolo Lolicata in Turin with the project
Rebirthing – with the work “Invasive Dermatogliphus".
