Passionate for photography since he was a teenager, Jacques Benaroch started his career as a professional photographer in the mid 70s during legendary concerts of the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, or Bob Marley.

In parallel, he collaborated with the magazines "Salut les copains" and "Podium", and photographed the French singers of the yeye years.

In 1980, he joined the Sipa Press agency and had photos shoots with some of the greatest international artists.

On the famous Buttes Chaumont set in Paris, he took the famous photo of the "Jackson Five" with their father.

Jacques Benaroch was decorated in May 2003 "Knight of the National Order of Merit" on a proposal made by Noelle Lenoir, Minister of European Affairs, as a reward for his lifetime achievements.
