Presentation

Cofee, a self-taught artist, derives his name from his early canvases painted using coffee. Through encounters with various graffiti artists such as Rino and Esor, Cofee gradually develops his unique style by combining techniques acquired throughout his creative journey. It is within the "calligraffiti" movement that his work finds its true essence.

Rather than using the fundamentals of calligraphy to form letters, Cofee reshapes them to create portraits, animals, or abstract variations—an approach to writing images. His sharpened technique is honed through numerous creations on canvas and, notably, on walls, which happens to be the artist's preferred medium. Daily studio work, however, allows him to refine his techniques before applying them on a larger scale. The scale of his work on walls continues to grow, as evidenced by projects like the Belvédère Tower in Moûtiers, which he collaborated on with Rino.

A devotee of Hip-Hop, Cofee embodies his vision of this world in his graphic universe. Within this context, he frequently takes the stage with the Supreme Legacy company, combining dance and painting. Embracing teamwork and challenges, he, along with Rino, repainted an entire abandoned building spanning over 10,000 square meters in Auvergne, before envisioning other large-scale projects.
