Laurence Innocenti transforms painting into an open but dense space.
Without theorizing, the designer never ends painting with passion. Refusing the great gap between the object and the gesture that creates it, she never sacrifices the first to the second. She fights with colors, shapes, canvas and claims their autonomy. Faced with the annihilation of the beautiful, she affirms her belief in the language of painting whose abstraction allows us to see differently.

Such an approach requires absolute concentration as much as abandonment to the emotion it provokes and which makes it so expensive.
