Painter of landscapes, urban landscapes, still lifes, flowers, pastellist. Post-Impressionist.
From his beginnings in 1951 to 1965, his painting was abstract. Also, in these years, he appeared in 1952 at the Menton Biennale; in 1960 at the Salon de Mai in Paris; in 1961 at the Paris Biennale; in 1965 at the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris; and in 1962, the Lucien Durand gallery made him a personal exhibition. After his conversion to a fashionable Post-Impressionism, he exhibited mostly individually in public places and some galleries, especially in Paris, and also: in several cities of Belgium, in Rome, New York, Barcelona, Toronto, etc.
He often painted views of Paris under different lighting, sometimes at night, but also landscapes of Brittany, the Mediterranean coast, London and especially Venice.
