“The Selfie project is autobiographical: it is inspired by a decade of the author's life crossed by illness (her own, that of her relatives) and death. The initial objective of this project was simply therapeutic, but by showing it to others, it appeared that it summons a kind of universal in the face of death, disease ... and resilience.
The series comprises 9 images accompanied by texts constituting a narration, the meeting of which is inspired by the work of Duane Michals.
In each image, the text transcribes the story in a realistic and dramatic way but the image, staggered, even funny, distances, intrigues and plays down the subject. "
