Pierre Claret was born in 1985 in Manila in the Philippines.
Attracted by comics, he studied in Nantes at the Pivaut School of Applied Arts from 2003 to 2007.
He worked in web marketing for several years before gradually moving towards painting. In 2022, he decided to devote himself exclusively to painting.
Behind the faces and bodies he paints, it is also the artist's questioning of the feelings that shape our daily lives. The lines are often slender then suddenly incisive, the colors are warm then cold, a subtle blend that questions the spectator about his own emotions.
His paintings are in his image, full of melancholy and dream.
