Susanne Ryman

Susanne Ryman is a self-taught abstract figurative artist based in Sweden.

At every available opportunity she paints from home in the art studio she created last year. In the studio she can express her creativity and truly blossom as an artist and for the first time she feels like now is the time to share her work to the world.

One of Susannes favorite motives are faces and the female body. She likes to create a feeling and a statement with her paintings. Susanne likes the contrast you find in life, city, nature and people and she often tries to embrace this in her paintings.

She also finds inspiration in music, graffiti and the art of tattoo. Right now she paints mostly with acrylic and ink but should she feel inspired and there is just a pen and paper in the vicinity this may suffice to make her next great painting!
