A versatile artist, Massimo Bartolini explores many disciplines, from sculpture to theatre to photography. He works with space and materials, introducing the illusion of distortion into his work. To do this, he plays with light and shadow, materials, sounds and smells. He has complete control of his artwork, leaving nothing to chance. A work of art depends on its surroundings, on a specific moment, on the viewer’s state of mind. Everything is considered to make the contemplative experience sensual, physical and incredibly beneficial.
