In the Parisian twilight, a dreamy figure stares at the magic of a moment when the urban meets the sublime. This artwork presents an intimate urban scene where a character, seen from behind, sits on the ledge of an open window, contemplating Paris. Wrapped in soft twilight colors, his silhouette contrasts with the golden light of the Eiffel Tower, creating a dreamy atmosphere. At his side, a cat adds a touch of complicity. The interior, rich in details such as plants and a lamp, evokes a warm and intellectual space. The work captures a suspended moment, a pause in the city's hustle and bustle, where humanity and urban nature coexist in harmony.
Sophie Griotto
Born in 1975 in Alès, in the south of France, lives and works in Montpellier. After studying Applied Arts, she began her career in a famous Parisian advertising agency, drawing for Dior and Jean-Paul Gaultier. In 2003, she began a freelance career as a French illustrator.
In 2013, she made a spectacular entry into the top "100 illustrators" & "Illustration now, Fashion!" of Taschen editions, identifying the world's illustrators of the moment. In 2016, she returned to exhibitions. A sale at Drouot allowed her to acquire a listing on Artprice.

Sophie Griotto was born in 1975 in Alès. She studied applied arts in Nîmes and then in Toulouse before moving to Paris where she worked for a large advertising agency. In 1988, she started working as a freelancer, as a storyboarder, which led her to make films for prestigious houses such as Dior or Jean-Paul Gaultier. She then decided to turn to illustration in 2003.
Her illustrations are inspired by the world of fashion, the world of media, the world of childhood and poetry. Women play a main role in her creations, she is represented in all her modernity.
Sophie Griotto uses a lot of fabric, which allows her to highlight the colors and patterns.
In 2014, Sophie Griotto was entrusted with the decoration of a Parisian hotel located at the rue de la Paix.
The illustrator is part of the art book "100 Illustrators" as well as in "Illustration now, Fashion" by Taschen.
