Pierre Van Poucke (1920-1983) is a French figurative painter, after the 1970's he tends towards the lyric abstraction. 1930, Beaux-Arts Lille. 1931, École nationale supérieure Beaux-Arts Paris, 1944, Salon de la Libération Museum of Modern Art 1950, Jeune Peinture Price, 1950 Drouant-David Gallery. Vice-president Société des artistes indépendants. Silver Medal Paris and Bourges, Gold Medal Ancona Biennale, Italy. Collection Fonds national d'art contemporain. Réference Un siècle d'Art contemporain, Denoël, 1984, One century of Contemporary Art.
