Biography
Damienne, original name for an original work, She painted her first works at 18 years old. She joined the Pontoise Art workshop in 1980, familiarizing herself with all the techniques. She worked the nude on a live model at the Conflans Ste Honorine workshop. It is the discovery of shadow and light that shapes the body, life and space. This perception will lead him to abstract painting.
Free yourself from the figurative, create a new universe on each canvas, experiment with new techniques, new tools, let go of the brushes. his technique is evolving. The colors are superimposed, intertwined, the color springs from the tubes. Little by little, this unreal, unique, magical universe is born, where escape and discovery are reborn every day when the gaze rests on the canvas. "Painting has a soul which catches the eye and makes the heart vibrate".
