Biography

“Working with stone: a personal approach with respect for the material.

"The essence of art is truth working itself out" Art according to   Heidegger

With each act of creation and because each stone is unique in its shape, structure and composition, I strive to put art at the service of the rock in order to update the designs it imprisons while respecting its weaknesses I work to sublimate it, make it "lighter" while making sure to preserve the traits of its character.

My quest is to allow the eye to see what is already beautiful.

Malraux says a very simple thing about art: “It's the only thing that resists death. So, one could say that art is what "resists" Not every work of art is an act of resistance and yet, in a way, it is. »
