Biography
Katrin Bremermann was born in Bremen in 1965.
The main themes in her work are the questioning of the language of painting and of the nature of the aesthetic experience.
The artist is searching, through different processes, a way of painting in a simpler manner in order to create an immediate presence.
Creating with simple means gives her the possibility to keep track of time while keeping the necessary mental ability to invent a perceivable space.
She permanently ?makes? something, and the process is a visual experience and a game she doesn?t cease to play with herself.
