Born in Poland and settled in Monaco since 2000, Agata Caliendo-Krystkowiak develops an artistic universe where emotion, light, and harmony occupy a central place.
Painter and photographer, she draws inspiration from nature, variations of the sky, and the infinite movements of the Mediterranean sea.
Coming from a family of artists, she grew up in a deeply creative environment that nurtured her artistic sensitivity very early on. Her work explores the boundaries between abstraction and modernity, translating a subtle dialogue between the soul and matter onto the canvas. Through oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, or ceramics, she seeks a delicate balance between color, light, and emotion.
Her approach is also distinguished by the fusion between painting and photography. She photographs her own works to reveal new details and transfers them onto different supports, notably textiles, thus creating unique compositions where every texture tells a story.
Committed to the transmission of art, Agata Caliendo-Krystkowiak has led many workshops for children and participated in various cultural and educational projects in Monaco. As a consultant in plastic arts for several UNESCO clubs and a member of the UNESCO AIAP Monaco, whose ambassador is H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, she actively works for the promotion of art and international cultural exchanges.
The year 2026 marks an important step in her artistic journey. Selected to present her work within the framework of the 8th Forum of Artists of Monaco at the Villanueva du Real Jardín Botánico in Madrid, she participates in a diplomatic exhibition organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of relations between Monaco and Spain. This prestigious event brings together many personalities from the diplomatic and cultural world, including His Majesty the King of Spain and H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
She has also collaborated with the association Terre Méditerranéenne in the framework of artistic workshops and educational projects aimed at young audiences.
Her works have been presented in Monaco, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Poland. Each creation invites the viewer to an inner journey where color, light, and movement become the vectors of a sensitive and timeless experience.
