Biography
Susan is an artist whose practice is rooted in landscape and architecture, expressed through reductive geometric forms. Her background in architecture informs a precise yet intuitive approach to material, surface, and structure. Working with plaster, plywood, and layered paint, she engraves and sands the surface to explore the spatial potential of line. Her process moves between methodical construction and intuitive response, allowing surface and form to unfold gradually. Simplicity of form and clarity of line give her work a rare purity and quiet power. She has exhibited widely in the UK, and her work is held in private collections internationally.
