PAUL PANOSSIAN (1965 - ): Paul Panossian is an American painter born in Los Angeles, California, in 1965. Recognized for his artistic talent from an early age, he studied under professional artists beginning as a child and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art, graduating cum laude from California State University, Northridge, in 1988, where he studied with the noted painter Hans Burkhardt. After graduation, Panossian traveled to Europe to study Old Master paintings firsthand and developed a traditional approach to oil painting. His work is characterized by rich color, sophisticated composition, expressive brushwork, and a particular sensitivity to light, reflections, and the natural landscape. He has created paintings for private and commercial collections and has received numerous awards in national and international exhibitions. Panossian is associated with the California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, and the Santa Barbara Art Association. His patrons have included Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, Nordstrom, the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, and other prominent private and corporate collectors.
