Description
This composition captures the raw architecture of an urban space. The gaze travels along an asphalted road, marked by sharp plays of shadows and light. A massive metal structure looms over the scene. It deploys a rigorous geometric framework that fragments the sky.
Movement is suggested by the presence of a bus and a few parked cars. Orange traffic cones punctuate the road, bringing colored touches to an environment dominated by gray and white.
The pictorial treatment favors the precision of lines and the depth of perspective. The light, raking and cold, emphasizes the solitude of the places. The artist explores here the geometry of modern infrastructures and the silence of transit zones.
The scene freezes in a suspended moment, between functionality and industrial aesthetics. The whole is presented in a dark and sober frame that reinforces the structure of the image. The rendering emphasizes the texture of the concrete and the rigidity of the steel.
