Description
The bronze captures a moment of absolute suspension here. The body of a woman seems to emerge from a raw and tormented material. The silhouette stretches with an aerial grace. The work of the metal plays on marked texture contrasts. The smooth, dark skin of the limbs opposes the woody aspect of the central structure.
The balance of the composition rests on a thin, twisted foot shaped like a lightning bolt. This organic base supports the whole with surprising lightness. The movement suggests an ascent or a sudden metamorphosis. The gaze is drawn to the fluidity of the open arms and the precision of the face.
This figurative sculpture explores the dialogue between nature and the human form. The bronze becomes the vector of a controlled tension. The technical execution emphasizes a search for modernity in the approach to the nude. The whole rests on a rectangular and minimalist black pedestal. This piece was made in 2025.

Presentation
The spirit of wood gravitates around Romain Tiercin. A grandfather who was a carpenter and a companion of duty ensures a rigorous transmission intimately associated with the carefree nature of family vacations. The precious hours in his grandfather's workshop make his DNA vibrate. It was when he became a father that Romain Tiercin questioned his own freedom to become a man: what to choose to transmit? He then left the oppressive mold of a managerial career to fully embrace his thirst for creativity.
His art emerges from the plant, his hands become architects of balance, the artist and the wood mix their breath of life and death, a paradox of our human condition of which bronze becomes the immortal messenger.
" Nature is omnipresent in my work. My days rise and set on the Pyrenees, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, precious well-being. Taking the time to observe nature, breathe it, touch it and let yourself be touched by its beauty, is to put a capital letter to the verb Live. "
Romain Tiercin spends entire days and nights creating, breaking, starting over before obtaining his first works. He thinks and manufactures the key elements of his workshop and foundry himself. The sculptor deploys an extraordinary energy to set the bar ever higher and his creations reflect this: " It has to pop ". Today, Romain Tiercin is giving a new direction to bronze sculpture, with monumental, modern and innovative approaches that his imagination alone cannot limit him to.
