Mr Garcia

Born in Marseille in 1982, Mr. Garcia grew up in the heart of the Phocaean city, bathed in the light of the South and the diversity of its cultural influences. Of Spanish and Italian descent, he draws from these two heritages a deep admiration for the great masters of European painting, whose spirit still runs through his work today.

He first picked up his paintbrushes in 2019. From this impulse was born an immediate, almost instinctive passion—a form of creative therapy that allowed him to escape from melancholy and bring to life an intimate and vibrant universe.

Mr. Garcia works the material with intensity, mixing plaster and paint, which he shapes with a knife. This sculptural gesture gives his works a unique relief and depth. Layer after layer, the composition is built, the textures become denser, and the colors are revealed: sometimes soft and nostalgic, sometimes vibrant and powerful.

Through his paintings, the artist gives free rein to his imagination. He deposits his raw emotions, his dreams and his heartfelt impulses, inviting everyone to dive into a world that is both dreamlike and introspective.
