Helen Reed Nungarrayi is an Australian artist of Aboriginal descent born in 1971 in Hass Bluf, a community located 227 km west of Alice Springs, Australia. She grew up in Kintore, a small Aboriginal community with a population of around 400, near Alice Springs where her father and sister still live. She now lives in Nyirripi, a small community west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Helen has been painting with the Society of Aboriginal Artists of Warlukurlangu since 2014. She paints the landscapes of her native country, dear to her father Ninkuwakal and whose colors she loves, as well as the dreams inherited from her ancestors.
