Claude Laffaye

Claude was born in Burgundy between Nevers and Autun. After secondary school, he decided to make a living from his creations and began working as a miniaturist painter on wood. Numerous meetings and training courses will allow him to evolve in his art. His technique is mixed, acrylic and oil. 

He expresses himself in an impulsive, intuitive way, going from abstraction to figurativeness, modeling shapes sparked by his first flat areas of color, warm or cold depending on his mood, giving free rein to his imagination, to offer us a colorful festival of landscapes poetic with curved lines.

The “New Earth" series transports us to a strange planet, into the artist's imaginary world. Claude presents us here with acrylic paintings, very sensitive, in the image of his creator, whose search for beauty involves enthusiasm, joy and appeasement.
