Oreli

France  • 1973

Presentation

Born in French Guiana in 1973, Oreli lives and works now in South of France. Thanks to her superior diploma in plastic art and her many years of graphic design in Brussels, she now immerses herself in coloring her inner strengths and tumults.

With nature as an inexhaustible inspiration and the ocean as a response to emotional conflicts that animate her, she uses resin versatility, freedom from pigments and magic of glitter as a call to awareness. The urgency to use human complexity in the service of nature protection.

To complete its ecological approach, 10% of her revenues go to organizations committed to protect oceans. This wealth of resources and constant benevolence that leads to calm and serenity.

Pierre Soulages as a deep inspiration for application of light, James Nares for movement of color or Jason Martin for dynamic volume of material, but also Australian artists like Mitch Gobel for his use of resin and many others come to feed her desires.
