Biography
Didier Turbet was born in Nevers in 1955.
In the 70s, he started experimented with different kinds of artistic techniques. But It was through his practice of drawing, the engine of his talent, that he gave birth, on two decades (1980 to 2000) to a large series of drawings made in ink, in which we can appreciate his unique talent and his meticulousness.
In the 2000s, He gave up the drawing board and started sculpting, he created a first big series of sculptures, which are a combination of abstraction, animal or hybrid creatures and organic forms. Free from any figurative or narrative temptation, he creates composition in which he seeks to continually renew a vibrant tension.
