Biography
Maria Bejarano is a Spanish artist born in 1971, who lives and works in Madrid. She did her training at the University of Sevilla.
Through a figurative style, Maria Bejrano created portraits as well as landscapes, often in bright and shimmering colors. Her work has now moved towards a search for a new visual language through industrial type supports, such as aluminum and methyl methacrylate.
Her works were exhibited at the International Contemporary Art Fair in Sevilla in 2015, ST-ART Strasbourg in 2015, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Tetouan in 2014, or at the Espiral gallery of Cantabria in 2015.
Her works were also part of the National Library, Town hall in Sevilla, IberCaja and Cajasur.
