Alena Vavilina is an ultra contemporary artist. Her art is cross-dimensional,which is attributed to her internationality. She had a brief academic formation in Europe and now in the UAE. She displays her art in multiple galleries and art fairs worldwide, particularly in Asia. In her paintings, we see a borderless world, unconstrained by geography and time. Her oeuvre is created through independent experimentation with assorted styles and mixed media.
Alena's art combines the ancient Asian style of Japanism, which has long inspired European contemporary art, including the Impressionists.
