Presentation
Patricia Dubois grew up in a community of artists in Austria.
She trained as an actress and clown in Germany, where she discovered derision and the power of the absurd.
For 10 years, she worked as a clown and actress on stage and in hospitals with sick children. She won the first First Prize of the “Certament intergalactico del interior" at the “Festiclown" in Santiago de Compostela.
Then she begins to integrate her experiences acquired as a clown into her painting.
She perfected her technique with Alyssa Monks, Felicia Forte and Joan Ferco. She also follows internships at the Atelier of Realist Art and at the UB (University of Barcelona-Faculty of Fine Arts). In 2017 she obtained the Certificate of Fine Art from the New York Academy of Art.
Today she lives and works in the Cévennes.
In 2020 she was selected for the "longlist" of the Jackson's Painting Prize.
His work is published in "Les 30 Artistes 2020", edited by Artistes d'Occitanie and "Art Seen" autumn/winter 2021.
