AE2

AE2 is a pair of artists, Anthony born in 1978 and Emilie born in 1984. Both hold a higher degree in art.

Having each had a personal artistic practice, it was in 2011 that they decided to bring their two worlds closer by signing their productions

AE2 (Anthony and Emilie, at 2) is therefore the result of two techniques, two aesthetic sensibilities and two points of view on the world, all their productions are therefore made with four hands.

Anthony and Emilie seek through their productions to keep an emotional trace of the past. Subjective memory, the unconscious that transforms, deforms and emotionally interprets a memory is the basis of their reflections. Their research often leads them to establish bridges with childhood.

By coming and going back to their productions, they seek to find a point of balance by seeking to create a poetic, sensitive work, as close as possible to memories.
