The exhibition “When comics meet the classics” retraces the world of the artist Marabout. A sweet mix between two worlds that he particularly appreciates: comic strips and the classics of art history. He then chose to introduce the figure of Tintin into realistic landscapes depicting middle America of the 20th century. However, he also enjoys shaking up other classics that we know well, such as the world of cartoons from the 1940s with the great master of cubism! This gives an astonishing mix that takes us back to childhood.
